Terra Luna- Frankincense & Litsea Cubeba Soap

These very special bars were created in collaboration with Terra Luna Herbals of Philadelphia!  Using calendula and lemon balm from her garden, I set about creating a uniquely skin nourishing soap.  My very first step was to steep these special botanicals in olive oil for two months.  I then used the infused olive oil as my main base oil.

Along with the botanically infused olive oil, these bars contain a rich blend of avocado, babassu, and coconut oil with a heavy helping of cocoa butter for good measure. Naturally colored with French pink clay and its sunny yellow embeds are tinted with annatto seed. I chose frankincense and litsea cubeba essential oils to scent this luminous gem- the resulting fragrance is radiant and sunny; a burst of citrus and resin that would brighten anyone's day!

All Natural Fragrance: Frankincense and litsea cubeba essential oils.

Base Oils: Olive oil, coconut oil, babassu oil, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, castor oil.

All Natural Colorants: French pink clay, annatto seed, calendula petals, titanium dioxide.

Average weight per bar: 4 oz.

*As is the nature of handmade soap, each bar will vary slightly from the next.

**Handmade soaps contain no preservatives.  To make your precious soap last as long as possible, please store it on slatted soap dish or wire shower rack to allow air to circulate around it.  If it can dry between uses it will last you much longer!
